2007 Second Annual Remodeled Homes Tour People's Choice Award

The owners of a 1943 cottage in Vancouver's historic Lincoln area desired 21st century style while respecting the home's vintage roots, and Kashas Construction followed through.

The project, designed and built by Kashas Construction, consists of a new master suite, expanded and remodeled kitchen/dining area, hardwood floors, expanded second floor bedroom/office, and new siding and windows.

Great care was taken to preserve the original character of the 64 year old home while providing the owner's with the refined and clean line design that they prefer. Our design team really connected with our clients and were successful in blending their desire for some contemporary details within a traditional home style.

The use of natural materials like granite slab countertops, hardwood flooring and stone tile will stand the test of time. At Kashas, our philosophy is to utilize quality natural materials in an uncluttered design. Natural materials and good design should result in a project that will not look 'dated' in a few years.
